This is almost unmeaning and out of good taste in Persian, and is all too obviously a verbatim translation from the English last will and testament. Last will, which means exactly the same as will and the equivalent of which in Persian is simply وصيتنامه the adjective آخرين being an unnecessary qualifying word in Persian, unless of course there is conclusive evidence that the testator had previously made another testament which he revoked later on, the latter being the one which is now specifically referred to. The Persian equivalent for last will and testament, therefore, being simply وصيتنامه ـ وصيتنامة معتبر or وصيتنامة مصدق English last will and testament being an established term without necessarily implying a previous will that was revoked by the testator.
